Diercks finishes fifth with Malvern Bank East Series at Dubuque

Spencer Diercks debuted with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Tuesday evening as the miniseries invaded his home track of Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the fourth round of Hell Tour.

After racing into the opener with a third-place finish in his heat, Diercks was an early retiree from the 30-lapper while running eighth.

On Wednesday at Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.), Spencer backed up a runner-up heat showing with a sixth-place finish in the 30-lap feature.

A trip to Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa) on Thursday resulted in a fifth-place finish for Diercks in the Malvern Bank East Series sanctioned A-Main. He chased Andrew Kosiski, Andy Eckrich, Chris Simpson, and Derrick Stewart to the checkers.
