September 15, 2018 - Diercks Begins Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville
1On Thursday night Spencer Diercks was one of 57 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries signed in at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) kicking off the 15th annual Knoxville Nationals. Dropping five spots in his heat race, Diercks posted an 8th place finish transferring him into the C-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Sending the Top 4 into the B-Main, Spencer came up three spots short with a 7th place outing.

The following night for another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature, Diercks recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat race giving him one more shot at the A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 6, Spencer fell two spots short with an 8th place finish.

Wrapping up the 15th annual Knoxville Nationals on Saturday, Spencer rolled off 16th in his B-Main for one last shot at the $40,000-to-win finale. Transferring the Top 6, Diercks logged a 22nd place outing bringing an early end to his weekend.

August 31, 2018 - Spencer Diercks Attends MLRA Event at Donnellson
1Spencer Diercks returned to action on Friday evening at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned event. In a field of 20 cars, Diercks recorded a 5th place finish in his heat positioning him 13th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Spencer dropped five spots in the 40-lapper logging an 18th place outing.

August 18, 2018 - Diercks Bags Top 5 Finish With AELMT at Wilmot Raceway
1Friday night found Spencer Diercks in action at Wilmot Raceway (Wilmot, Wisconsin) for the American Ethanol Late Model Tour sanctioned Dairyland Duel. In a stout field of 40 cars, Spencer followed up the third fastest time overall in qualifying with a heat race victory. Receiving the 6th-starting position for the A-Main after the redraw, Diercks gained one spot in the 50-lapper to place 5th behind Dennis Erb Jr., Jared Siefert, Ron Berna, and Nick Anvelink. 1On Saturday evening Diercks followed the American Ethanol Late Model Tour La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Illinois) for the $4,000 top prize. Earning the 9th-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events, Spencer was running in 8th when track officials deemed him as a lap-car on a caution sending him to the tail. He salvaged a 16th place outing.

August 11, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Russ Wallace Memorial at Tri-City Speedway
1 On Friday evening Spencer Diercks was one of 29 MARS Racing Series entries signed in at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Russ Wallace Memorial. Following a 9th place finish in his heat, Diercks locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 4th place finish in his B-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Spencer improved 10 spots in the 40-lap affair reeling in a 9th place finish.

The following night at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the FALS Frenzy, Spencer recorded a 4th place finish in his heat positioning him 16th on the starting grid for the finale. With $10,000 on the line, Diercks was an early retiree from the 50-lapper

July 28, 2018 - 15th Place Finish at Davenport Speedway; Follows World of Outlaws to FALS
1Tuesday night saw Spencer Diercks return to action with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the $10,000 top prize. In a field of 23 cars, Diercks locked his spot into the A-Main with a 7th place finish in his heat. Starting in 19th, Spencer gained four spots in the 40-lapper to place 15th.

On Friday night Diercks followed the World of Outlaws to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. With 61 Super Late Models on hand for four rounds of preliminary features, Diercks recorded the 21st fastest time in his qualifying group earning him the 13th-starting position for the $2,500-to-win feature. Coming two spots shy of a Top-5 finish, Spencer gained six spots in the 25-lapper to place 7th.

Returning on Saturday night starting in 4th in his B-Main, Spencer posted a 5th place finish giving him one final shot at the $30,000-to-win finale with the Prairie Dirt Shootout. Sending only the race winner into the show, Diercks was a scratch from the 25-lap affair.

July 6, 2018 - Overheating Motor Ends Diercks Night at Dubuque Speedway
1Spencer Diercks invaded Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa) on Friday night competing with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. After registering a new track record and the fastest time overall in qualifying, Diercks was battling for the lead in his heat race when his motor started to overheat forcing him to pull pitside. Rolling off on the tail of the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Spencer improved eight spots in the first 9 circuits but experienced more issues with his motor forcing him to withdraw early from the 40-lapper. June 16, 2018 - Spencer Diercks Joins Hell Tour at Sycamore and Dirt Oval at Route 66
1On Friday night Spencer Diercks made his debut with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Illinois) for the $10,000 top prize. Drawing 27 Super Late Models for the third stop of the tour, Diercks got caught in a wreck in his heat race that sidelined him from the rest of the night’s remaining events.

Rejoining the tour on Saturday night at Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, Illinois), Diercks followed up the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group with the 5th and final transfer spot in his heat race. He was eventually disqualified from the heat after failing to report to the scales following the 10-lapper. He was a scratch from his 8-lap consolation event.

May 5, 2018 - Diercks Follows Lucas Oil MLRA to Davenport and La Salle
1After Thursday’s opener at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa) was washed away by Mother Nature, Spencer Diercks headed to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday evening following the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. With 30 Super Late Models registered in for action, Diercks locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 5th place finish in his heat. 1The following night at La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Illinois) for the Land of Lincoln 40, Diercks logged an 8th place finish in his heat race securing his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main. With 40-laps to gain some ground, Spencer registered a 24th place finish.

April 21, 2018 - 14th Place Finish in Slocum 50 at 34 Raceway
1Behind the wheel of the Mohr Enterprises #29 Super Late Model, Spencer Diercks visited Davenport Raceway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday evening for the Lucas Oil MLRA Series sanctioned opener. In a field of 35 cars, Diercks was passing for 3rd in his heat race when he made hard contact with an infield tire that ended his night immediately.

1Saturday night brought Spencer to 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) for the 10th annual Slocum 50. Coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat, Diercks landed a 5th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top-4, Spencer captured a 12-lap consolation victory locking his spot into the finale. March 31, 2018 - Diercks Attends Thaw Brawl at La Salle Speedway
1Spencer Diercks kicked off the 2018 season on Friday night at La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) season opener. Drawing 48 Super Late Models for the two-day Hoker Trucking Thaw Brawl, Diercks fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 3rd place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Spencer logged a 6th place outing ending his night early.

March 1, 2018 - Spencer Diercks Launches New Website; Preps for '18 Season
1Davenport, Iowa's Spencer Diercks is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia team and has launched a brand-new website at www.SpencerDiercks29.com.

The 21-year-old Diercks is set to embark on the 2018 campaign, which will mark his sixth year of competition. He will be behind the wheel of the Floyd's Waste Systems #29 Longhorn by Weaver Late Model.

The talented-young driver has a busy slate of regional competition planned for the upcoming season. The year will open on March 23-24 at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) during the annual Illini 100. The event will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws (WoO) Craftsman Late Model Series.
